Maynilad provides crucial aid to Typhoon Kristine survivors

In response to the devastation caused by Typhoon Kristine, Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (Maynilad) has mobilized essential hydration support to assist affected communities, particularly in hard-hit areas like the Bicol region. Coordinating with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Philippine Air Force, Maynilad delivered 2,000 of the more than 5,000 donated 6-liter bottles of safe drinking water to Bicol via a C-130 aircraft, ensuring timely access to potable water for typhoon survivors. The remaining bottles were distributed to local government units in Morong (Rizal), Noveleta (Cavite), and Barangay Bagong Silangan (Quezon City), and through the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF), Alagang Kapatid, and the PLDT-Smart Foundation.

To further aid recovery efforts, Maynilad also deployed two mobile water treatment plants, each capable of producing 13,000 gallons of potable water daily, to serve evacuees and alleviate water shortages in affected communities.

This initiative underscores Maynilad’s commitment to disaster relief, providing critical water support to help communities recover and rebuild.
