Miss USA extends help to PH after earthquakes in Cebu, Davao

The pageant community in the United States is showing its solidarity with the Philippines, which was recently hit by two massive earthquakes.

On its social media pages, Miss USA said it will donate part of streaming fees from its events to the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) to help those affected by the calamities in Cebu and Davao.

The post also includes a message from the chairman, president, and CEO of Miss USA and Miss Teen USA, Thom Brodeur.

“The Miss USA Organization and QBN (Queen Beauty Network) are proud to support earthquake relief efforts in the Philippines,” he said. “A portion of all streaming fees will be donated to PDRF to aid communities impacted by the recent devastating earthquakes in Cebu and Davao.”

“Together, we stand with the people of the Philippines as they rebuild and recover,” it added.
