To further build awareness and appreciation of maps and their use to DRRM, community members were organized to have Mapathons Sessions. Volunteers, youth, sectoral representatives and barangay staff themselves made online map improvements in their barangays to expand the coverage and to help provide inputs such as hazard prone areas and places that are most vulnerable in DRRM plans. The mapathon online session started January 31, 2022 until March 25, 2022. There were 11 barangays partcipated in this activity namely; Baesa, Bagong Silangan, Batasan Hills, Culiat, Holy Spirit, Libis, Pansol, Matandang Balara, Pasong Tamo, Payatas, and, Tandang Sora. The output of this activity are web-based maps, risk atlas, and modules (GIS, DRRM, Mapping, layouting).
