During the mentoring activity and risk assessment session it was raised by the barangays that they also need to be equipped in the management of evacuation centers. With this, the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) and the Center for Disaster Preparedness (CDP) conducted Evacuation Camp Management Workshop (ECM) a three-day course to build the capacities of communities for camp management which is a vital form of humanitarian assistance that coordinates protection and assistance programming and takes a holistic approach to uphold basic human rights and meeting the needs of the camp population.
